The Husqvarna 435 chainsaws unique Smart Start feature, plus the combined start and stop switch means that operators are required to produce up to 40% less force on the pull cord to start the chainsaws engine, making it effortless to get going with the task in hand. Other intuitive features include a snap-lock cylinder cover and quick-release air filter, for effortless maintenance, felling marks to increase the precision of performance, side-mounted chain tensioner for easy adjustment, as well as a flip-up fuel tank cap that is easy to open and close.

The Husqvarna 435 also features a 40.9cc X-Torq® engine which provides high power in combination with efficiency to deliver top performance. This unique engine improves fuel consumption up to 20% and reduces exhaust emission by up to 75% when compared to other saws on the market. It also comes with an interchangeable 15" chainsaw bar, and a industry standard safety chain as standard. To help ensure maximum durability with the high power machine, engineers of the Husqvarna 435 chainsaw have also integrated a forged three-piece crankshaft.
