Learn about ECHO, the brand
ECHO garden tools are common amongst many households across the globe when it comes to garden machinery, specialising in the development and production of an array of garden power tools.
A lot has changed since their humble beginnings in Japan over 70 years ago with the creation of a simple hand-held crop duster. This is due to ECHO being a branch of the Yamabiko Corporation, which was formed alongside the merger of the Shindaiwa Corporation and the Kioritz Corporation after the Second World War. Both of these companies brought a vast amount of experience to the table with over fifty years of experience in their respective industries. Yamabiko Corporation continued this heritage by releasing a revolutionary new backpack power-duster in 1947, helped by drawing on the experience of both of the corporations. This cycle continued and in 1968 the first ECHO garden tool product was released, the CS-80 chainsaw.
Nowadays, this household brand has grown to become a technological leader in manufacturing garden machinery with its designing and building of reliable, high performance, commercial grade products. They have branched out across the globe with manufacturing plants not only in Japan, but Shenzhen, China and Lake Zurich, Illinois. ECHO have maintained their high-end status whilst other brands have come and gone due to a number of factors, one being their willingness to uphold quality standards checks on their commercial grade engines where performance and consistency of each engine are closely controlled before release.
With guaranteed reliability and efficiency, these easy to use ECHO tools are ergonomically designed to provide extreme comfort during operation and deliver high-quality performance to the highest professional standards during every use. The company is striving to stay at the front of the technological evolution of outdoor power tools. This is evident through many ECHO garden tools with the integration of low noise, low vibration and low emission engine technology, making these machines more environmentally friendly and easier to use for those with little experience working with garden machinery.
